In JULY 2012 your community cinema is GOING DIGITAL
Going Digital is the Digital Cinema fundraising campaign at the Plaza Community Cinema. We need to raise funds so that they can join the digital age of Cinema by upgrading to a digital projection system.
Going Digital for the Plaza would enhance the audio visual experience, and mean we can get the best films, on time. We will be upgrading all three screens, not only with 4k Sony Digital projection, but also digital surround sound. We will still be keeping 35mm, so you will have the best of both worlds! This really will be like nothing else you’ve ever experienced before at the Plaza.
We may be a community cinema run by volunteers, but we also want to be the BEST CINEMA EXPERIENCE IN LIVERPOOL!
We’ve already managed to raise over half the money, but we need one last push to reach our target in time for the release of The Dark Knight Rises on 20th July 2012. Plaza will be holding events to help raise funds so keep an eye out for the logo and give your support to the Going Digital fund.
