Breaking Point | Film and Creative Media Project

We are proud to announce the details of our latest film and creative media project for young people aged 13-19 years during the summer. In partnership with Cottonfield Films we are able to offer full training in all aspects of film production.

The dates are as follows:
Mon. 5th – Thurs. 8th 10.00 – 3.00
Mon. 12th – Thurs. 15th 10.00 – 3.00
Mon. 19th – Thurs. 22nd 10.00 – 3.00
Tues. 27th – Fri. 30th 10.00 – 3.00

If you would like to develop and star in a narrative drama themed on the triad of pressures experienced by young people. These include peer pressure, parental pressure and pressure from school.

The project will enable participants to gain an excellent hands on experience in all aspects of film production including scripting, storyboarding, camera work, lighting, audio, drama, make-up, set design, music production, editing and graphic design. As well as a chance to meet other young people with similar interests and make new friends.

There will be a further week of post-production workshops during the October half term holiday. Once completed the finished film will receive a premiere screening at the Plaza Community Cinema, with the chance to take part in a Q/A with the audience.

If you would like to take part in this project please contact Christine Physick on 0151 928 1530 or email; [email protected] for further information or to book a place.
