COVID-19 Update | Plaza to remain closed

The continuous uncertainty regarding the COVID-19 and the announcement by Boris Johnson PM yesterday about the need not to travel only if essential and asking for gatherings of people to be restricted the Plaza Community Cinema will be closing until further notice from Thursday 19th March If you have pre-booked tickets these will be refunded, if you have cinema vouchers they are not affected and can be used at a later date

The Plaza has been through difficult times before, in 2010 when we found ourselves almost going bankrupt and remained open. This time we have to hold our nerve and hope that we can come through this difficult time, but to all our loyal Patrons who have supported us throughout the last 21 years, we ask that you look after yourselves and your loved ones and together we can be stronger.

I can’t wait for the plaza to reopen, if there is anything we can do please let us know. Would the plaza consider doing movie night boxes for collection? Popcorn, drinks and snacks?
