We round off our retro series of films for 2025 with the first Christmas Specials announcement. This year’s 1980s Christmas film is the classic, Trading Places (15) on Saturday 13th December.
Trading Places is a 1983 comedy film directed by John Landis. Starring Dan Aykroyd, Eddie Murphy and an all star cast, the film tells the story of an upper-class commodities broker and a poor street hustler whose lives cross when they are unwittingly made the subjects of an elaborate bet to test how each man will perform when their life circumstances are swapped.
Nick Gartland DJ will be on warm up before the main film with an 80s themed DJ set. Christmas Jumpers optional!
There will be a bar and a food bank collection on the night.
