Dementia Friendly Screening | Singin’ in the Rain

This February our latest Dementia Friendly Screening will be the Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds classic, Singin’ in the Rain.

Screenings will take place in screen 1, our large art deco screen, newly restored to its art deco glory, to recreate the experience of going to the pictures. This is also easily accessible for wheelchair users.

We will maintain a low level of lighting throughout the screening and can adjust the volume on the film, to suit the needs of the audience. Visitors will be supported by Dementia Friends trained staff.

There will be an interval half way through the film for tea, coffee and biscuits to be served.

We will be showing Singin’ in the Rain on Thursday 23rd February 1:30pm, tickets are £4. You can see a full calendar of our Dementia Screenings here.
