Arts & Education

The Plaza Community Cinema provides a wide range of Arts and Education activities for young people and the wider community.

Our projects include:

Autism & Disability Friendly Film Screenings

The community cinema is for everyone and we endeavour to provide a service to those who cannot normally enjoy as simple a pleasure as going to see a movie.

We run a monthly screening so check the right hand side of this page to see what’s coming up.

Film & Creative Media Projects

Are you aged 13-18 years and interested in producing your own film?

The Plaza offers free film and creative media projects during school holidays.

Our fully inclusive approach brings together young people with additional needs and their peers plus a range of creative freelance professionals. With support and guidance you will be taken through all the various stages of film production to enable you to produce your own film.

The completed film will receive a public screening at the Plaza.
