The Plaza is proud to host the Hope Not Hate event in association with Unison.
Featuring music with a message from The Christian’s, who are passionate about this event, Gary Christian told us that ‘Anything we can do to promote hope not hate and help tolerance and understanding in our community will always get our support.’ Also on the lineup is Alun Parry plus two outstanding short films will be shown:
- ‘Gayle Force’ introduced by Howard Gayle, the first Black footballer on Merseyside
- ‘Where The Hammer falls’ a documentary short including archive footage showing the history of struggle on Merseyside, introduced by director Tony Lloyd.
Taking place on the 15th May at 7.30pm, all tickets are FREE and now available from the Plaza Cinema box office. We hope you can join us for this important night
