Volunteering

Your cinema does need you. The Plaza is founded on volunteerism and could not run without the hands on support of many people. By volunteering, you contribute directly to the running of cinema on a day to day basis, enabling this amazing community resource to stay available and affordable for everyone.

But you also get plenty in return – you get to learn new skills from ushering, to box office management and kiosk operation, and get an insight into how a cinema actually runs. Plus you’ll meet some great new people in the process, and of course, you get to see all the latest films for free.

All applicants to be a minimum of 15 years of age at time of application.

We are currently looking especially for applicants 18 years of age and above.
