This autumn, Prime Video and independent distributor Altitude will release Kenny Dalglish, a cinematic portrait of one of Celtic’s, Liverpool’s, and Scotland’s greatest ever football players.

The intimate documentary is narrated by Kenny Dalglish himself and will see him joined by his wife Marina and footballing friends Graeme Souness and Alan Hansen.

Drawing from hundreds of hours of archival footage, including never-before-seen personal clips from his playing career and home life, the film reveals the remarkable story of a great player and a humble hero of Liverpool and Glasgow.

Thanks to his skill, strength, flair, and sharp humour, the Scotsman is one of Europe’s greatest players and considered an icon for what he did off the pitch as much as on it.

Kenny Dalglish is directed by Asif Kapadia, the Oscar and Bafta-winning director of Senna, Amy, and Diego Maradona.
