We kick off the festive season at the Plaza Community Cinema with a Plaza 80s Christmas Special on Saturday 2nd December. This year’s 1980s Christmas film is the 1988 classic, Scrooged (PG).
Based on A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens and directed by Richard Donner, Scrooged is a modern retelling that follows Bill Murray as Frank Cross, a cynical and selfish television executive who is visited by a succession of ghosts on Christmas Eve intent on helping him regain his Christmas spirit.
Nick Gartland will be on warm up before the main film with a 80s themed DJ set.
There will be a bar and a foodbank collection on the night.
