Plaza 80s is now fully refreshed from a small break across the Summer as we launch into our final three shows of 2023. We would like to welcome everyone back to help us blow out the candles for our 2nd Birthday on Saturday 16th September with the 1980s classic, Rocky IV (1985).
In the fourth film of the Rocky series, Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) confronts Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren), a Soviet boxer responsible for a personal tragedy in Balboa’s life.
Plaza 80s DJ and Promoter, Nick Gartland will be on 80s warm up duties before the main film!
The first batch of tickets go on sale at the Plaza Cinema Box Office on Monday 17th July at 5pm, these are £7 (CASH ONLY).
6.45pm – Doors Open
7.00pm – Nick Gartland 80s set
8.00pm – Rocky IV
Plaza 80s debuted in September 2021 with The Lost Boys, since then we have shown Back To The Future, Dirty Dancing, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Gremlins, The Breakfast Club and The Goonies.
There will be a bar and we will be doing a collection for the local food bank.
